Many people think that protective shoes are safety shoes. In fact, this argument is incorrect. According to our current standards, safety shoes and protective shoes are two different standards. The national standard for safety shoes is GB21148-2007, and the national standard for protective footwear is GB21147-2007. From the standard number, it can be known that the two are not the same; otherwise, the country does not need to establish different standards. Specifically, there are many similarities in the national standards for protective shoes and safety shoes. The main difference is that we look at the following figure:

GB21148-2007 is for safety shoes, and GB21147-2007 is for protective shoes. The difference between the safety shoes and the protective shoes is different from their protective coefficient. The safety shoes have an ankle resistance coefficient of an1,200 joules, and the protective shoes have an ankle resistance coefficient of an2,100 joules.
